This serene and beautiful three bedroom waterfront home was recently completed by well-known architects on a magical site in walking distance to the many offerings of Bellport Village including quick beach access, unique stores and restaurants, kayaking and paddle boarding, all in a quaint and quiet historic setting. The home features new floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass and screen doors with Juliet balconies that maximize bay views while providing a pin-drop quiet bay front perch. The raised home rests on a bed of pea gravel with additional landscaping including native beach grasses along the water, a beautiful lawn, privacy hedges, and a welcoming allée of honey locust trees at the inviting entry. The house is located on a quiet street with few neighbors. The newly bulkheaded landscape offers flood and hurricane resistance, as well as a step down to enjoy the bay or take a dip.
The house is divided into public and private wings connected by a double height central foyer with open-tread white oak and glass rail stairs and a gracious view of the bay. The separation of public and private zones allows those in the bedrooms to be undisturbed by activity throughout the rest of the house.
The public activity takes place in a beautifully proportioned great room with a cathedral ceiling.
